Difference between tumor and cancer:

A tumor is a group of abnormally growing, redundant cells that can occur in any organ or location. Tumors can be classified as benign or malignant, mainly by their growth pattern and nature rather than lethality.

Benign tumors proliferate at the primary site and will not spread to other body parts. Generally, regular inspections are required, and they are not life-threatening. However, if it continues to increase, it may compress adjacent organs, and a doctor needs to be further examined and treated appropriately.

Malignant tumors form so-called cancers. It can spread and must be treated. Otherwise, it will destroy the surrounding normal tissues and invade other organs through the blood or lymphatic system.
